Cardiac Cath Tech – RCIS

Location:  Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Georgetown, SC

Position Summary: The Cath. Lab Tech shall be responsible for physiologically monitoring patients during cath lab procedures, as well as, performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and emergent interventional cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker implantation cases.

Education: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. (or eligible for certification) The Radiologic Technologist must show proof of certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, renewable yearly. The Radiologic Technologist must show proof of certification by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Formal training in an interventional Cath Lab. is desired.

Experience/Qualifications:  Minimum two year Cardiac Catheterization Lab Tech. Experience (including clinical time).  Experience with physiological monitoring systems, sterile scrub technique, interventional and diagnostic heart catheterizations and pacemaker implantations.

Special Skills: RCIS required.
