Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath

UWMC has four outstanding opportunities for a CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST - CATH, full-time (100%). These responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases. Case types include Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Biopsies, structural heart, and TAVR. The Cardiovascular Technologist performs a variety of cardiac imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their cardiac imaging and monitoring needs. Additionally, the person in this role participates in CQI activities.

Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist Program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Diagnostic Radiology with Cardiac-Interventional (CI) Radiography Certification and Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
RCIS, CIS, Cardiovascular Tech, CVT , Registered Cardiovascular tech, Registered cardiovascular technologist, Registered cardiovascular invasive tech, Registered cardiovascular invasive technologist, CV Technologist
Two years experience in a large Cardiac Cath Lab program.
