UWMC has four outstanding opportunities for a CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST - EP, full-time (100%).  Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring and circulating diagnostic and complex electrophysiology (EP) cardiology procedures. Case types include diagnostic EP studies, ablations (SVT, AVNRT, Afib, Aflutter, VTach) and device implantations.  The Cardiovascular Technologist (Advanced CVT) in the EP Lab performs a variety of cardiac EP imaging procedures, including ablations and devices and is responsible for patient safety protocols.  Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their cardiac imaging and monitoring needs. In addition, they participate in CQI activities.

Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist Program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist


Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Diagnostic Radiology with Cardiac-Interventional (CI) Radiography Certification and Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

RCIS, CIS, Cardiovascular Tech, CVT, Registered Cardiovascular tech, Registered cardiovascular technologist, Registered cardiovascular invasive tech, Registered cardiovascular invasive technologist, CV Technologist  

Two years experience in a large Cardiac EP Lab program
