Shift: Primarily day shift M-F, but must be flexible as they train a department that operates 24/7.  
 
Summary:
Primary responsibility is training of new or senior Clinical Staff through classroom, PP and 1:1 sessions

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains clinical expertise, including but not limited to, the following areas and processes therein as applicable:
  • MSA
  • PaceArt
  • INR
  • Cardiostation
  • Holter
  • Acts as Clinical Resource for Clinical Operations staff
  • Complete understanding of the Physician Notification Criteria
  • Takes appropriate measures to obtain/clarify missing notification/report information and communicate resolution of escalated issues
  • Participate in Continuing Education testing to ensure quality standards 
  • Continuously evaluates and identifies opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
  • Must maintain acceptable test scores and exceed quality standards
  • Participates and collaborates in Clinical Services special projects as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned or circumstances necessitate
  • Assist in the development and implementation of  Clinical processes
  • Provide side-by-side coaching to new and existing employees based on QA measurements
  • Attend scheduled meetings and provide reports on metrics in a timely manner
  • Maintains flexibility to accommodate all department shifts as needed for coaching sessions
  • Maintains positive rapport and strong feedback loops with all internal customers
  • Actively conducts Continuing Education Trainings
  • Works closely with Clinical Operations/LPI Leadership and LPI Trainers to communicate observations and identify training needs
  • Maintains highest levels of confidentiality regarding both patient and employee records in accordance will all applicable industry and company guidelines
  • Develops action plans in conjunction with the Clinical Operations Supervisor

Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
 
  • Demonstrates impeccable customer service to Clinical Services customers including patients and physicians/accounts and ancillary departments
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints via phone or e-mail
  • Ability to greet customers warmly and ascertain issue or reason for calling
  • Ability contact customers in order to verify information as needed
  • Ability to develop solutions and address/escalate issues appropriately and timely
  • Demonstrate high level ability to recognize normal and abnormal ECG patterns
  • Ability to cross train and become proficient in all areas related to monitoring types and computer programs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • Successful completion of BioTelemetry’s ECG Analysis Training Program
  • Ability to communicate clearly, appropriately, accurately and timely, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task competing priorities
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Demonstrate excellence in all areas of Customer Service
  • Demonstrate excellent oral, public speaking skills
  • Ability to train in large groups, small groups and 1:1

  • Proficiency with Clinical Monitoring systems, reporting and data analysis, including but not limited to MSA, PaceArt, Cardiostation, INR, Holter, as applicable
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills
  • Possess mature, sound judgment as demonstrated by decision-making & analytical abilities
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Graduate of cardiovascular or similar technical training school required 
  • CCT/CRAT certification or must obtain within 6 months of hire
