BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE

Holter Reporting
 
The Holter Reporter will review and process data using visual superimposition along with digital analysis tools to generate preliminary reporting in the Ambulatory Holter Electrocardiogram (AECG) department. To learn the workflow and process for assigned clinical accounts and provide support from upload of data to FTP server through preliminary report database save.
 
Learn and demonstrate thorough understanding of workflow, policy and procedure, for all aspects of AECG Holter management on an account basis, as assigned. The responsibility includes maintaining service line operations, including, but not limited to:
     o Collaborative agreement between department and customer for department's Holter Electrocardiogram clinical service;
     o Notification protocols followed in a timely manner between department and customer for clinical data management; and
     o All clinical processes from patient information download from FTP server into analysis platform.
• Work within the Holter department and report as directed on assigned accounts analyzing holter ECG data.
• Perform a minimum of 24 studies / day through database saving for physician review (120 studies/week).
• Achieve quality in the preliminary reporting as approved by Clinical Director.
• Participate and be able to function in all aspects of department operations and procedures.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of AECG data management tools and their functionality (Chroma and other device recorders, HolterCare, and Cardiofile).
• Maintain the department's case management and internal quality control portfolios as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
High School diploma required and 2 years of job related experience. Cardiac Rhythm Analysis Technician Certification is required (CRAT).
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of all AECG technologies encouraged with demonstrated experience in Cardiac Holter Electrocardiography.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Holter Reporting Technician will be walking, standing, twisting, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling intermittently, and sitting continuously daily. They will be required to reach or work below shoulder level. Holter Reporting Technician must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Holter Reporting Technician works primarily indoors in an office environment where temperatures fluctuate, and the noise level is typically moderate.
