You can sign your Code of Ethics online and pay your renewal fees online by logging into your CCI account. New Registrants credentialed between Jan 1, 2023 and March 31, 2023 are not required to submit CEUs. Learn more here.
Info on Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Registrants who hold Registry credentials are required to earn 36 CEUs, 30 of which must be cardiovascular-related CEUs to complete the renewal process. Certificate level registrants are required to earn 16 CEUs.
CCI operates on an auditing model for CEU submission. While ALL credential holders are required to earn the appropriate CEU’s, all are not required to submit CEU documentation unless notified by CCI to do so. It is recommended that ALL credential holders maintain continuing education documentation through the next triennial renewal cycle end date as CCI reserves the right to request these documents.
Please refer to this list of known continuing education providers. Submitting CEUs from an approved site does not mean that they are automatically accepted. Please review providers and continuing education activity to ensure that it meets the criteria for your CCI renewal.
Registrants may retake the Registry exam at any time during their triennial, with no penalty to satisfy their CEU requirement. Exam must be completed and passed before end of triennial cycle.
